Welcome to our trial Blogging service. Blogging* is now an established method for communication and publishing on the Internet, this trial will allow you to explore Blogging with software installed at the University.
A few points to note before you start;

This is a trial and there is no guaranteed availability, though we will try our best to make it as reliable as we can.
Make a backup of or backup any information you post on the blog
Use is subject to all the usual sensible advice about use/misuse as contained in the University of Derby Code of Conduct
Your Blog can be seen by the outside world, so nothing too controversial please!
The Blogging software isn�t available to students to use as authors, although the University is looking into a solution to allow this as part of the Blackboard project
The Blog software will be trialled until 15th June 2007, after that date we will decide with your help, whether we will

Continue the service,
Replace it with something better or
Remove the service
